ALEXANDROS Soilemezidis, (artist name- Alex Solo)
came to this Earth 44 years ago in the Russian town of Suchumi.
MOVING to the sleepy Greek hamlet of Thessaloniki in 1991, his formative years were spent embracing the likes of seminal UK acts such as… DireStraits, Deep Purple, Rainbow, ELO, Uriah Heep… The latin, reggae and rock collections of the day and the other usual suspects.
AND so it was that after years of writing in his two native tongues – it was a move to London in 2015 that spurred hid decision to write in English… And so in the January 2018 “The Cloud Pilot “ project was born.
